Maurice saves the universe

When Novartis employee Maurice suffered an unexpected heart attack, he discovered he had elevated Lp(a), a little-known genetic risk factor for cardiovascular disease. He made it his mission to encourage everyone he knew to get tested.

I helped Novartis turn Maurice's personal experience into a compelling film that raises awareness of Lp(a) and the importance of testing. By letting Maurice and his family tell the story in their own words, we brought a human face to a complex medical issue and made a powerful case for knowing your risk.
